🔥Candied Pork Belly Bites Three Little Pigs Rubs & Sauces

🥓 Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs pork belly (skin removed, cut into 1.5” cubes)
  • 3 tbsp Three Little Pigs Spicy Honey Maple Rub (or Touch of Cherry for a sweeter profile)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup butter (cubed)
  • ½ cup Three Little Pigs Competition BBQ Sauce or Touch of Cherry Sauce
  • Optional: A dash of cayenne if you want extra kick

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Prep & Season:
    • Cube pork belly into 1.5” squares.
    • Generously coat with Three Little Pigs Spicy Honey Maple Rub and let sit for 30–60 minutes in the fridge to marinate.
  2. Smoke It Low & Slow:
    • Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
    • Place pork belly cubes directly on the grate or a wire rack. Smoke for 2 to 2.5 hours until edges start to crisp and the fat renders.
  3. Wrap & Candy-Coat:
    • Transfer smoked bites into an aluminum pan.
    • Add brown sugar, butter cubes, and drizzle honey over everything. Toss lightly to coat.
    • Cover tightly with foil and return to the smoker for 1 hour.
  4. Glaze & Finish:
    • Uncover the pan, drain excess fat if needed.
    • Drizzle with Three Little Pigs Competition Sauce and toss to glaze.
    • Return to smoker uncovered for 20–30 minutes to tack up the glaze.

🍽️ Serve Hot & Sticky

Perfect as party appetizers or a decadent BBQ side. Serve with picks and plenty of napkins!
